藝術家 Artist｜李屏宜 Ping-Yi LI

創作旅程由自家出發，從個人記憶到品味堆積、從飼養陪伴到種植花開，從收集的習性到潛意識的神祕幻想，記錄著個人生活中大大小小的生命故事，目前定居於台東，喜愛東部土地人文的純淨與樸質。

擅用木刻版畫創作，不同於傳統版畫的呈現方式，獨創木板與紙本並置的「鏡像風景」，打破傳統版畫「複數性」的概念，將以往是創作載體不為所見的「版」成為作品的一部分，作品風格細膩、色彩溫潤多變。曾獲2020南島國際美術獎典藏獎及2022高雄獎。

Li, Ping-Yi was born in 1985 in Hualien, Taiwan. Her artistic journey began at home, evolving from personal memories and accumulated tastes, to caring for pets and cultivating blooming plants, and from a habit of collecting to the mysterious fantasies of the subconscious. Her work records the various life stories within her personal experiences. Currently residing in Taitung, she enjoys the purity and simplicity of the culture and land in Eastern Taiwan. She Specializing in woodcut prints, In particular, this series of works challenges the concept of “plurality” in traditional printmaking. I make the previously hidden “woodblocks,” which were once just tools of printmaking, an integral part of the work, creating a “mirrored landscape” in which the woodblocks and prints are juxtaposed. Her works are characterized by delicate details and warm, varied colors. Li Ping-Yi has received the Austronesian International Arts Award in 2020 and the Kaohsiung Award in 2022.
